Road Accident.
Andrews wife Maxine, 50, told of her shock and sadness following the loss of her husband, who leaves sons Luke, 22, Marc, 21, and Patrick, 17. She said: βEverybody who knew him loved him so much. The children loved their dad, they absolutely worshipped him.
βWe are all going to miss him.β
She described Andrew as a hard working man with a keen interest in motorbikes and caring for his pets.
The couple had four dogs and were supporters of the Greyhound Rescue Centre in Sowerby Bridge.
His other passion was a pair of Honda CV900 motorbikes, which he used to ride to work and across the countryside on weekends.
His sister Kathy Lakin, of Dockfield Road, Shipley, remembered her brother as βa jokerβ.
She said: βWhen he walked his dog on the golf course, he always used to pick up golf balls. One Christmas, he had a pocket full of balls and we all got one as a present.
βHe was a family man and a joker who will be sadly missed.

Gone Too Soon
I ache and hurt so much when I think of the "what ifs" but I try to stay focused on moving on from the pain of losing you. Today I have failed, today I want you back Andrew, I want to be able to come over and visit with Lizzie and see you.....I can't bear losing you sometimes. I am so sorry I didn't tell you I loved you more or hugged you more. I love you and send you the biggest hug I could ever give anyone. Happy Birthday Brother
Today will never be the same again sinse you were suddenly taken from us, but you are loved, missed more than anyone can ever imagine. Wherever you are I know you will be with your family today and you are with me every minute of everyday. I would give anything to be able to spend one more minute with you! You are and will forever be my inspiration to carry on! I love you deeply Spaz!
